BMW Alpina XB7 Manufaktur Limited to 120 Units
BMW ALPINA is closing a significant chapter in its modern history with the introduction of the 2026 BMW ALPINA XB7 MANUFAKTUR, a final limited-production version of the high-performance luxury SUV. Restricted to just 120 examples for the United States and Canada, the model marks the end of XB7 production while highlighting the bespoke craftsmanship and understated performance that have long defined the ALPINA brand.
When the first XB7 rolled off the line in 2020, it represented a milestone for the company. It was the first ALPINA model assembled outside of the firm’s traditional workshop in Buchloe, Germany, instead being completed at BMW Plant Spartanburg alongside BMW’s large SUV lineup. With the MANUFAKTUR edition, BMW ALPINA brings that story full circle, offering a carefully curated send-off for one of its most powerful and luxurious vehicles.
Production of the XB7 MANUFAKTUR will begin in September 2026, with deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. Each example will be delivered in a single, fully equipped specification priced at $180,000 plus $1,550 destination, with buyers asked to choose only between two exterior finishes.

Exclusive Colors and Signature ALPINA Design
For its final edition, the XB7 MANUFAKTUR introduces two paint finishes never before offered on the model: Frozen ALPINA Green and Frozen ALPINA Blue. Both colors draw directly from the company’s traditional palette, providing a visual link to ALPINA’s heritage while emphasizing the special status of the model.
Exterior trim elements—including the grille, window surrounds, air breathers, and tailpipe finishers—are finished in Shadowline high-gloss black, creating a sharper contrast against the matte finishes. The SUV rides on standard 23-inch ALPINA CLASSIC forged wheels, the signature 20-spoke design long associated with the brand.
Subtle details distinguish the MANUFAKTUR edition from earlier XB7 models. A black ALPINA Deco-Set stripe runs along the vehicle’s profile, while a laser-etched MANUFAKTUR wordmark on the B-pillar and a unique rear badge confirm its limited-production status.

A Cabin Defined by Craftsmanship
Inside, all 120 vehicles share the same interior specification, combining Tartufo Full Merino leather upholstery with ALPINA Walnut Nature Black trim. The warm brown leather palette is complemented by heritage touches that reference ALPINA’s five-decade tradition of handcrafted performance cars.
Front headrests carry embroidered ALPINA script in green and blue, while the center console features a plaque identifying each vehicle as “1 of 120.” Black floor mats with ALPINA emblem pins and an embroidered trunk mat reinforce the theme throughout the cabin.
Standard equipment includes second-row captain’s chairs and a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound system, underscoring the XB7’s positioning as both a performance machine and long-distance luxury cruiser.
Owners will also receive a pair of handmade ALPINA weekender bags, crafted from brown LAVALINA leather and designed specifically to match the interior materials and colors of the vehicle.

Power and Performance
Beneath the hood, the XB7 MANUFAKTUR retains the formidable powertrain that has defined the model since its debut. The SUV is powered by a 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8 derived from BMW’s S68 engine, producing 631 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque.
Power is delivered through an 8-speed ALPINA Switch-Tronic transmission with integrated 48-volt starter-generator assistance, allowing the large luxury SUV to accelerate from 0–60 mph in just 3.9 seconds.
Chassis tuning remains uniquely ALPINA. The standard two-axle air suspension incorporates ALPINA-specific damper calibration and offers 3.2 inches of adjustable ride height, raising the vehicle for low-speed clearance or lowering it at higher speeds for improved stability.
Additional systems include Active Roll Stabilization, Integral Active Steering with rear-wheel steering, and multiple driving modes—COMFORT, SPORT, and SPORT+—allowing the XB7 to balance luxury ride comfort with the performance expected from the ALPINA badge.

A Closing Chapter for the XB7
With production limited to 120 examples and a carefully curated specification, the XB7 MANUFAKTUR serves as a fitting conclusion for the model that brought ALPINA into the world of BMW’s flagship luxury SUVs.
It also represents the end of a unique moment in the brand’s history—one where ALPINA engineering and craftsmanship intersected with BMW’s largest and most technologically advanced vehicles, all assembled in the United States.
For collectors and enthusiasts alike, the MANUFAKTUR edition offers a final opportunity to acquire what may ultimately be remembered as the definitive version of the ALPINA-tuned X7.
