The Ferrari LaFerrari specified by Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay is not new to these pages and likely well-known to any crowd reading this website, so it is big news indeed when such a car is confirmed as coming to market. Such is the case, and it’s headed to the block at the RM Sotheby’s Monaco Auction 2026-a truly unique thing, even in a crowd of LaFerraris.

Finished in paint-to-sample Signal Green through Ferrari’s Extra Campionario program, this example is believed to be the only one of the 499-unit production run delivered in that color. The spec was personally commissioned by Kay, a well-known collector, and delivered new via Dick Lovett in the UK in June 2014.
The build leans heavily into contrast and exposed materials. A carbon fiber roof—one of roughly 50 so equipped—sits above additional visible carbon elements, while Giallo Modena brake calipers and Tailor Made wheels complete the exterior. Inside, the theme continues with black and green leather, matching stitching, and “Jamiroquai” etched into the steering wheel.

As expected for a LaFerrari, the underlying package remains unchanged: Ferrari’s first hybrid hypercar, combining a naturally aspirated V12 with an F1-derived HY-KERS system for roughly 950 horsepower.
Provenance adds to the appeal. Kay debuted the car publicly at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed shortly after delivery, and the car has since appeared in museum exhibitions-most recently in Maranello as part of a collection of unique cars associated with musicians and where the auction photos appear to have been taken. Despite its visibility, use has been limited, with just over 3,000 kilometers recorded during his ownership before it was sold in 2019. More recent records show continued maintenance within the Ferrari dealer network, including a replacement high-voltage battery in 2023.

Estimate for the Monaco sale is €4,000,000–€4,500,000, positioning it among the more significant LaFerrari offerings to come to market in recent years.
Between its one-off color, celebrity ownership, and relatively low mileage, this is less about the LaFerrari platform itself and more about a singular specification—one that leans into the kind of individuality Ferrari rarely allows at this level.
