Evoluto’s 355 Reaches Production Readiness

Evoluto Automobili has confirmed that its 355 by Evoluto program has reached full production readiness, following completion of a comprehensive engineering and validation process. The final production prototype has now signed off its core development phase, with durability testing nearing completion ahead of customer deliveries scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.

The validation programme included over 5,000 miles of track testing alongside 10,000 miles of engine development work. A final 20,000-mile durability sign-off is expected to conclude in April, supporting Evoluto’s decision to offer a two-year, 20,000-mile warranty. The first of 55 planned customer cars entered the production facility in March as part of final verification procedures.

Central to the updated package is a heavily re-engineered chassis and suspension system. Track widths have been increased by 77 mm at the front and 66 mm at the rear, paired with entirely new suspension components and revised geometry. Evoluto has also redesigned key service items such as wheel bearings and driveshafts, reducing unsprung mass while improving serviceability and durability. A new suspension system developed with R53 introduces three-way adjustable dampers derived from motorsport applications.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated V8 offered in two configurations: a 3.5-liter unit producing 420 PS and a larger 3.7-liter variant delivering 480 PS with a 9,000 rpm redline. Both engines emphasize high-revving response and mechanical engagement rather than outright forced-induction output, aligning with Evoluto’s “Peak Analogue” philosophy.

The interior has also been finalized for production, combining lightweight carbon construction with analog controls and modernized electronic architecture. Evoluto has avoided screen-heavy interfaces, instead focusing on tactile inputs and simplified electrical systems, with approximately 90 percent of the wiring harness redesigned. The result is a cabin intended to balance usability with a distinctly mechanical driving experience.

With engineering now signed off and production underway, the 355 by Evoluto moves from development concept to fully realized low-volume series, positioning itself as a modernized interpretation of a classic platform with an emphasis on durability, usability, and analog performance.
