Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has opened its first reimagined showroom in Australia, introducing the brand’s latest global retail concept to Sydney and reinforcing the importance of the Australian market as demand for increasingly personalized luxury automobiles continues to grow.
Located on O’Riordan Street in Alexandria, the newly redesigned showroom officially opened on June 18 and becomes the first Australian retail space to fully adopt Rolls-Royce’s current showroom design language. The launch was attended by Julian Jenkins, Director of Sales & Brand for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, and Irene Nikkein, Regional Director for Asia-Pacific.
The Sydney facility represents the latest investment by Australia’s Autosports Group, which operates Rolls-Royce dealerships across Australia and New Zealand. The opening follows the debut of the group’s Auckland showroom in 2025 and further expands its presence across the region.

While the showroom accommodates three vehicles, its focus extends well beyond displaying cars. Central to the space is a dedicated Bespoke Commissioning Atelier where clients can work directly with Rolls-Royce specialists to configure highly individualized vehicles. The atelier features an extensive collection of materials, veneers, leathers, embroidery samples and finishes that allow customers to explore virtually limitless personalization possibilities.
The redesigned facility reflects a broader shift within the luxury automotive sector, where the purchasing experience increasingly centers on customization and personal expression. Rolls-Royce says Australian customers are commissioning ever more ambitious bespoke projects, mirroring a global trend that has seen record levels of personalization content incorporated into new vehicles built at the company’s Goodwood headquarters.
Among the notable Australian commissions referenced by the brand is the Black Badge Ghost Gamer, a highly personalized project that demonstrates the increasing creativity and complexity sought by local clients.

The showroom’s design incorporates influences drawn from Sydney itself, including references to the city’s natural light, waterfront setting and contemporary architecture. Visitors enter through a façade inspired by the marque’s signature Pantheon grille before entering a space that blends modern luxury with elements of Rolls-Royce heritage.
Another key feature is the Cabinet of Curiosities, a curated display of objects, materials and references inspired by Australia’s landscapes and creative culture. The installation is intended to provide inspiration for future bespoke commissions while connecting local influences with Rolls-Royce craftsmanship.
For Rolls-Royce, the Sydney opening represents more than a retail update. It serves as a tangible reflection of the growing importance of Australia within the marque’s global business, particularly as clients increasingly seek vehicles tailored to their individual tastes rather than traditional off-the-shelf luxury products.
As bespoke commissioning continues to become a defining element of ultra-luxury automotive ownership, the Sydney showroom provides Australian clients with a dedicated environment designed specifically around that experience.
