The 964-era 911 you see here isn’t a Turbo or a GT car, nor is it some never-seen Paint to Sample color. Even still, it is an incredibly obscure specification that is also incredibly tasteful.
First off, it’s a factory-fitted widebody (WTL) with fenders from the Turbo on a Carrera 2 Cabriolet. That’s already about as deep dive as it gets when it comes to basic configuration. Building on that foundation, the original buyer went further by choosing standard-yet-rare Oak Green Metallic and then pairing it with a very special tone-on-tone Sherwood Green leather.
The green theme extends throughout the cabin. Factory option X19 specifies a dashboard completely trimmed in green leather, while X34 adds green leather instrument surrounds. The car was also ordered with X36, Porsche’s factory sport/lowering suspension.
Delivered new by Porsche Kassel in 1993, the 964 remained with its original owner for many years before passing to his son. Its early history includes eight documented Porsche service entries through 2006.
The car was taken out of regular use in 2010 and placed into storage. According to the seller, it continued to receive regular engine runs and brake-fluid changes during this period. It entered a Porsche collection in 2023.
At the end of 2024, the Carrera underwent a major service at Porsche Center Gelderland along with additional work.
The WTL configuration is already an uncommon specification for a Carrera 2, but the Oak Green Metallic exterior, Sherwood Green leather and matching leather dashboard and instrument surrounds make this example particularly distinctive. Combined with its long-term ownership history and recent maintenance, it is an unusually specific example of the 964-generation Carrera.
