Admittedly we're coloring outside the lines here a bit, so please forgive us. For starters, this Audi RS 6 was built in December of 2003 rendering it un-importable in the US (damn you, Canada!) for two more years. Second, Audi's Goodwood Green was a standard color on the RS 6, so although rare, exclusive it is not.
Regardless of your feelings on the EV market, there's little room for debate about the Audi e-tron GT's looks. The shape is striking, as is the tasteful yet ambitious choice of Porsche's Ultraviolet made possible through the Audi exclusive program.
Talk about a bold order that paid off. Audi exclusive Imola Yellow is not for the introverted among us, especially when applied to an SUV. But featured here on this SQ5 and paired with the must-have black optic package, Imola is part of a cohesive package that generally works quite well.
It's been said before but we'll say it again- the Macan GTS is an absolute gem in the current Porsche lineup. Found here at Chicago's Gold Coast Motors and finished in the incredible Brewster Green example was optioned up to $110,040 when new with equally tasteful choices.
Our own George Achorn literally just did a podcast with Mike Callaghan from FCP Euro on the topic, and here we are going back to the well for another absolute gem. CarMax has a history of sneaky selling Audi exclusive inventory without any sort of markup or promotion, and this Audi exclusive Goodwood Green RS 5 sportback with just 15,000 miles is the latest example.
The rare spec is something we also find ourselves drawn to, even if that doesn't exactly mean Tailored in our traditional sense. In some cases these rare spec examples are actually more scarce than some custom builds- case in point is this Z4 M Coupe in Monaco Blue Metallic.
Is Mexico Blue the best blue? At this premium it better be- even if this could be the best-spec'd 997.1 Carrera S you're likely to find. Carrying a $100k sticker in 2006, this 997 has Mexico Blue as the headline, but PCCB, sport seats, sport chrono plus and 19" classic wheels are quite the subheading.
Audi exclusive San Marino Blue, borrowed from their rivals in Munich, paint that moves between deep and electric depending on the angle, pairs incredibly well with cognac leather and 560 horsepower. Then you see the CarFax, showing one accident.
Ran when parked is always a scary thing- especially when the subject is thousands of miles away- but for this Tailored Driver we can easily see someone choosing to ignore a red flag. Finished in BMW Individual Velvet Blue Metallic and paired with BMW Individual "Maisgelb" leather, this E36 compact is one hell of a blank canvas.
