Bentley Bucharest Honors the Romanian Athenaeum with Four Bespoke Mulliner Creations

Bentley has revealed a stunning new Mulliner collection inspired by one of Romania’s most celebrated cultural landmarks — the Romanian Athenaeum Concert Hall in Bucharest. Limited to just four vehicles, this exclusive commission pays homage to the architectural and artistic splendor of the iconic concert hall, known as a symbol of national pride and artistic excellence.

As shared by Bentley on social media, the Bucharest-exclusive series comprises four handcrafted masterpieces: a Continental GT coupé, a Flying Spur, a Bentayga, and a Bentayga Extended Wheelbase. Each example reflects the Athenaeum’s classical grandeur through unique bespoke design touches and an interior palette that evokes the building’s refined elegance.

Inside, the craftsmanship reaches orchestral levels. The passenger fascia features a golden violin motif integrated into a musical stave — a nod to the Athenaeum’s legacy of great performances and its role as home to the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra. The headrests are embossed with the concert hall’s emblem, while illuminated welcome lamps project its intricate silhouette onto the ground. Custom tread plates further commemorate the collaboration between Bentley Bucharest and the Mulliner design team.

The interior color palette draws directly from the Athenaeum’s décor, combining Brunel, Linen, and Aegean Blue hides in a bespoke split complemented by Piano Brunel veneer. Together, the tones create a serene yet stately atmosphere worthy of both concert hall and coachbuilder.
