Bentley Expands Carbon Fibre Styling Specification Across Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur
Bentley has introduced an expanded Carbon Fibre Styling Specification for the latest Continental GT, GT Convertible and Flying Spur, offering owners a more expressive and motorsport-influenced interpretation of the brand’s flagship Grand Tourers. Announced in Crewe on December 2, the newly enhanced package reflects rising demand for personalisation and adds a sharper, more assertive look to Bentley’s performance models while remaining fully aligned with the brand’s design DNA.
The latest specification brings an enlarged rear diffuser, extended side sills, redesigned front splitter and carbon fibre mirror caps, each handcrafted, hand-finished and mirror-matched across the vehicle’s centreline. These components are designed from the outset to integrate with the fourth-generation models’ proportions and airflow requirements, avoiding the add-on aesthetic typical of aftermarket kits. The result is a cohesive, factory-developed package that pairs with Bentley’s titanium Akrapovič Exhaust and Blackline Specification for a darker, more performance-focused appearance.

One of the most notable updates is the broader availability of the package. For the first time, the Carbon Fibre Styling Specification can be ordered across all Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur variants, including Mulliner models. This marks a significant expansion from the previous generation and aligns with customer feedback calling for deeper personalisation options even at the highest levels of specification. The components are also available as a retrofit for existing fourth-generation cars, allowing current owners to upgrade to the latest visual and aerodynamic enhancements.
The specification made its public debut on a Continental GT Speed in Orange Flame at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, highlighting its more muscular stance and motorsport-inspired detailing. While visually dramatic, the components remain functional in purpose. The carbon fibre pieces are laid in multiple layers for strength and undergo comprehensive laboratory stress testing, thermal cycling and over 100,000 km of durability evaluation. Notable revisions include a reinforced, double-thickness front splitter engineered for improved stability and aerodynamic efficiency.

A signature detail of the new package is the electroformed Bentley badge embedded within the side sills. Developed specifically for this specification, each three-dimensional badge features a jewel-like faceted surface designed to catch the light without introducing lacquer imperfections. The inclusion of such elements reinforces Bentley’s commitment to craftsmanship, blending technical precision with aesthetic refinement.
Though the Styling Specification focuses on presence and aerodynamics, it complements the substantial performance gains of Bentley’s latest hybrid powertrains. The current Continental GT and Flying Spur Performance Hybrid models produce up to 782 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque, with 0-62 mph acceleration as quick as 3.2 seconds. The carbon fibre components play a supporting role in this dynamic capability, helping manage airflow and stability while underscoring the cars’ performance potential.
With expanded availability, cohesive factory integration and increased technical depth, Bentley’s latest Carbon Fibre Styling Specification presents a compelling option for owners who want their Grand Tourer to project more purpose and personality. For Tailored Driver readers, it represents the ongoing evolution of Bentley’s dual identity: craftsmanship-first luxury fused with motorsport-inspired engineering, now delivered with greater precision than ever.
