Bentley Prague Honors Czech RAF Heroes With Exclusive Mulliner Squadron Collection
Bentley Prague has unveiled a deeply meaningful project as its first Mulliner Collection: an exclusive quartet of one-of-one commissions paying tribute to the Czech airmen who served in four Royal Air Force squadrons during World War II. Revealed during the launch of the retailer’s new showroom, the Czech Squadron Collection draws a direct line between Crewe’s wartime history, Britain’s Ministry of Defence and the sacrifice of Czech pilots who fought in RAF Squadrons 310, 311, 312 and 313.
Each of the four cars—Bentayga, Flying Spur, Continental GT and Continental GT Convertible—has been individually tailored to reflect the aircraft, colors and mottos associated with its squadron. Mulliner developed a suite of bespoke details for the project, including laser-etched headrest insignia created with a new technique pioneered specifically for this collection. Bespoke treadplates depict each squadron’s aircraft profiles and mottos, while select models feature unique Bentley Rotating Display bezels finished in St James’ Red, Beluga and Signal Yellow, echoing the colors found in the squadrons’ historic liveries.

Bentley Prague Sales Manager Jiří Halousek describes the project as both personal and commemorative, noting that the team wanted its first Mulliner commission to reflect pride in Czech heritage and the enduring ties between the UK and Czechia. That heritage shapes each car. The Continental GT Convertible honoring Squadron 310 wears a Thunder exterior inspired by Spitfire sky camouflage, paired with Imperial Blue, Cognac and Brunel hides inside. The Bentayga dedicated to bomber Squadron 311 adopts a military-influenced Cypress Green over a cabin trimmed in Autumn and Cumbrian Green, with treadplates depicting both the Wellington and B-24 Liberator.
For Squadron 312, the Continental GT presents a stealthy Barnato green palette, 22-inch wheels and a cabin that mixes Beluga and Anthracite with Fern Green accents, reflecting the purposeful aesthetic of the Spitfires flown by its pilots. Rounding out the collection, the Flying Spur honoring Squadron 313 features a Cypress over Anthracite duo-tone exterior and an elegant interior rendered in Gondola Green, Gravity Grey and Beluga, with open-pore black stained Crown Cut Walnut throughout.

The deeper significance of the Czech Squadron Collection lies not only in the craftsmanship, but in its connection to Crewe’s origins. Before Bentley cars emerged from its gates, Pyms Lane was a wartime facility producing the Merlin V12 aero engine—powering the very Hurricanes and Spitfires flown by Czech RAF pilots. These commissions, created nearly a century later, stand as rolling tributes to courage, collaboration and the lasting bonds forged during the darkest chapters of history.
Bentley Prague’s Mulliner debut is both a celebration of craftsmanship and a poignant reminder: honor can be expressed not only through memorials, but through the details, stories and symbols carried forward into the machines of today.
