Bentley with New Bentayga Artenara Edition

Bentley has expanded its flagship SUV lineup with the introduction of the Bentayga Artenara Edition, a new curated specification celebrating the most distinctive design elements of the Bentayga while pushing the model further into the realm of bespoke luxury.

The new edition draws its name and inspiration from the village of Artenara in Gran Canaria, the island’s highest settlement at roughly 1,200 meters above sea level. The village sits near the Roque Bentayga, the volcanic peak that originally lent its name to Bentley’s luxury SUV. For this special edition, that geographic connection becomes a central design theme, appearing throughout the vehicle as a distinctive motif etched and perforated across the cabin.

Positioned above many existing Bentayga configurations in terms of design exclusivity, the Artenara Edition blends Mulliner craftsmanship, curated color combinations, and unique detailing to create a version of the Bentayga that emphasizes both visual purity and personalized luxury.

Design Inspired by a Mountain Peak

The Artenara Edition introduces a signature design language centered around the rugged topography of Roque Bentayga. A stylized interpretation of the mountain appears as a finely etched graphic across the dashboard fascia, accompanied by the precise geographic coordinates of the landmark. The motif continues throughout the interior via laser-crafted perforations across the seat shoulder panels and door inserts.

Bentley extends the theme outside the cabin as well. When the doors open, an animated welcome lamp projects the Artenara motif onto the ground, while illuminated treadplates and dedicated wing vent badges reinforce the edition’s identity.

The exterior is defined by a cleaner visual approach compared with typical Bentayga specifications. Lower brightware elements—including the door blades and bumper accents—are finished in body color, creating a more seamless side profile and emphasizing the SUV’s sculpted surfaces.

Signature Mulliner elements remain central to the design. A double diamond grille, Artenara-specific wing vents, and standard 22-inch Mulliner wheels finished in grey with polished pockets all contribute to the model’s visual presence. Buyers can alternatively select gloss black or fully polished versions of the wheels, or opt for Bentley’s newly introduced 23-inch Super Lux wheel, available for the Artenara Edition beginning with the 2027 model year.

Curated Color and Material Combinations

Bentley’s design team has developed eight curated exterior color themes for the Artenara Edition, each paired with a complementary interior palette built around a sophisticated tri-color layout previously reserved for the Mulliner Extended Wheelbase.

Exterior finishes include Beluga, Granite, Pale Brodgar, Glacier White, Sequin Blue, Dark Sapphire, Verdant, and Havana, each matched with carefully coordinated hides, veneers, and accent tones.

One example pairs Pale Brodgar paint with a Portland and Beluga interior accented by Linen hide and Piano Linen veneer, delivering a classic, understated atmosphere. Another specification combines Verdant exterior paint with Saddle and Camel interior hides, highlighted by Cumbrian Green accents and Piano Cumbrian Green veneer.

For a more contemporary expression, Sequin Blue can be paired with the Blackline Specification and gloss black wheels with granite pockets. Inside, Linen and Beluga hides contrast with vivid Light Blue accents across the fascia, center console, embroidered Bentley wings, and steering wheel spokes.

Although these eight combinations serve as curated starting points, customers can further personalize the vehicle through Bentley’s Mulliner customization program.

Multiple Powertrain Configurations

The Bentayga Artenara Edition is available in several drivetrain and body configurations, giving buyers flexibility without sacrificing exclusivity.

The model can be specified as a Standard Wheelbase Bentayga powered by either Bentley’s twin-turbocharged V8 or the V6 Hybrid powertrain. Alternatively, customers can choose the Extended Wheelbase (EWB) variant powered by the twin-turbo V8, offering additional rear-seat space and limousine-level comfort.

Notably, many of the design elements that define the Artenara Edition—such as the tri-color interior treatment—were previously exclusive to the Mulliner EWB model.

New Features for the Bentayga Range

The Artenara Edition also arrives alongside several broader updates for the Bentayga lineup. Bentley has added Dark Teal, a metallic mid-blue paint with subtle green tones, to the exterior color palette. The brand’s new 23-inch Super Lux wheel is now available on Azure, Artenara Edition, and Mulliner EWB models.

Bentley has also expanded its Connected Car services to additional markets including Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand, and South Africa, allowing owners to access vehicle information and remote functions through a dedicated app ecosystem.

With the Artenara Edition, Bentley effectively distills the Bentayga’s most distinctive design elements into a single curated specification. The result is a luxury SUV that emphasizes visual cohesion, elevated craftsmanship, and the increasingly personalized character that defines the upper tiers of the modern Bentley lineup.
