Market Find: BMW Individual Atlantis Blue Metallic M3 Competition
Will·
BMW's Atlantis Blue Metallic is not exactly what we'd consider understated, but what it lacks in modesty it more than makes up for in dynamism. Appearing blue in low light, and bursting to nearly teal in direct sunlight, Atlantis looks right at home on the M3 Competition- especially when paired with the equally shouty Kyalami Orange seats.
Market Find: Paint to Sample Albert Blue Porsche 911 GT3 RS in San Luis Obispo
Paint to Sample Albert Blue is an interesting color choice for a 911 GT3 RS - a color from Porsche's rich heritage that's somewhat subdued for such an in-your-face car as a GT3 RS. Pair it with red graphics though (not to mention carbon fiber laden Weissach Package) and the overall look becomes decidedly more bold.
Market Find: Audi SQ5 in Porsche Mahogany Metallic
It may be subtle, but this Audi SQ5 represents a double dose of rare decisions in the tailored ordering segment. First, going with a subtle color like Brown takes an extra commitment to the decision given the extra money to go with special paint may be lost on many who see the car. Second, going across brand borders into the palette of another manufacturer, in this case Porsche, suggests even more commitment given that likely makes the special paint that much more of a financial commitment.
EU Market Find: Audi exclusive Santorin Blue RS 4 Avant
Will·
It's not hyperbole when we say the staff of Tailored Driver has been waiting 25 long years for the B5 generation RS 4 Avant to be importable, and while we'd need to hold off for another year for this MY2001 example, it just may be worth the wait. Now admittedly Santorin Blue is not at the top of our list, the simple fact that this was painted at the factory by a still incredibly under-the-radar Audi exclusive team should not go un-noticed.
EU Market Find: Red on Red Porsche 959 Inventoried at Swiss Lamborghini Dealership
Alright, this one's a bit of a mystery. A semi-thorough Googling searching this car doesn't reveal any details while the Lamborghini dealership that has it in inventory also offers no online description. Perhaps by the time you read this they will have provided us some details. If you're reading this and no further details are offered though, that means we were unable to learn more about this highly unusual Porsche 959 as of this time.
Market Find: Audi exclusive Goodwood Green A6 allroad at BMW of Minnetonka
Given the focus on the Audi RS 6, most enthusiasts seeking a special station wagon from the brand of the four rings tend to apply Audi exclusive paint services to the big dog RS car. Comparatively though, the A6 allroad is a veritable bargain. Build it to Prestige specification in the order guide then throw on a great-looking special paint color from Audi exclusive and you have a very special thing.
EU Market Find: “Monte Carlo Worthy” Bahama Gold Range Rover Classic 3-Door
"Monte Carlo Worthy" is maybe the best way ever to describe a pristine vintage luxury car, and that's precisely how Gallery Aaldering leads in explaining the Bahama Gold example you see here. Why? Well, for starters it spent its last ten years residing in Monte Carlo.
Market Find: Audi exclusive Brilliant Red B8.5 A4 allroad
The B8.5-generation Audi allroad is from an interesting time at Audi. Sandwitched as it was between the departure of the A4 Avant S line (A4)and predating the arrival of the RS 6 Avant (C8), the A4 allroad represented quite literally the only station wagon for several years. This placed the focus of many enthusiasts on a model that, at least in Europe, would have been rather boring. It doesn't matter, they were loved and not uncommonly ordered in tailored specification like this Audi exclusive Brilliant Red example.
EU Market Find: 1985 Ferrari Testarossa “Targa”
This very unique Ferrari Testarossa is 1 of 1, converted to Targa specification by Ernst Berg Systems (EBS) in 1985. It's also the only left man drive Testarossa in yellow for a 1985 European spec with the "flying mirror".
EU Market Find: 1975 Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 in Blu Azorro Metallizzato
This rare colored Dino 308 GT4 was owned by the same family for over three decades until it was sold to the current owner in 2020. The car has been repainted in its original color, Blu Azorro Metallizzato, the same color as used in the brochure (see photo).
