Halcyon’s “Highland Heather” Corniche Begins Grand Tour of the Arabian Peninsula

Halcyon has announced that its first remastered Rolls-Royce Corniche, known as “Highland Heather,” will embark on a Grand Tour of the Arabian Peninsula, marking the first time the car has been shown outside the United Kingdom. The tour begins at the Royal Bahrain Concours of Elegance on November 7–8, 2025, before continuing on to Saudi Arabia and the UAE for a series of private viewings and select public appearances.

The Global Debut of Highland Heather

Finished in a deep Purple Moorland hue inspired by the natural beauty of Scotland’s moors, Highland Heather represents Halcyon’s first completed commission and the foundation of its Rolls-Royce remastering program. The car’s name and theme pay homage to Rolls-Royce’s 1907 Scottish reliability trials—an early demonstration of the marque’s enduring spirit of engineering excellence.

Hand-built in Surrey, England, Highland Heather is the first of just 60 one-of-one commissions that will define Halcyon’s reimagined approach to coachbuilding. Each car begins with a bare-metal restoration exceeding 2,000 hours, meticulously refining every panel, seam, and surface before integrating new technologies developed by Halcyon’s engineering division, Evice Technologies.

The Art of Electrified Refinement

At the heart of each Halcyon remaster lies an in-house developed 800V electric platform that preserves the effortless motion and quiet grandeur associated with Rolls-Royce while adding new levels of precision and composure. The drivetrain produces 500 horsepower and incorporates adaptive suspension, regenerative braking, and three distinct drive modes—Drive, Spirited, and Touring.

Despite the added capability, the system adds no weight over the original Corniche, ensuring the car maintains its signature “magic carpet” ride. Every example includes a range of discreet modern features—wireless Apple CarPlay, heated and ventilated seats, concealed infotainment, and a bespoke sound system—all seamlessly integrated behind tactile analogue controls.

Craftsmanship and Collaboration

Each Halcyon commission is developed in close partnership with its owner through the brand’s Surrey-based atelier. Clients are encouraged to co-create their cars through a fully bespoke process that can extend to collaborating with artists and designers to realize individual visions. From handcrafted interiors to custom galleries and sculpture-like details, each remastered Rolls-Royce becomes a singular expression of its owner’s identity.

Highland Heather’s interior continues its Scottish-inspired theme with intricate engraving, bespoke embroidery, and a central Halcyon Gallery installation—a water-sculpted piece representing the flowing rivers of the Highlands. The result is a car that blurs the line between fine art and grand touring elegance.

A New Chapter for Rolls-Royce Remastering

The Grand Tour across the Arabian Peninsula underscores Halcyon’s commitment to bespoke craftsmanship and reflects growing enthusiasm from collectors in the region, where one-off and coachbuilt vehicles are celebrated as expressions of taste and heritage. The company’s leadership team, led by CEO Matthew Pearson, will accompany Highland Heather throughout the tour, hosting private previews for clients and collectors.

Pearson said: “We’re thrilled to begin our Grand Tour at the Royal Bahrain Concours. The passion for craftsmanship and individuality across the region makes it the perfect stage for our debut. Highland Heather is more than a car—it’s a reinterpretation of what the Rolls-Royce experience can be when you apply modern engineering to timeless beauty.”

A Vision Rooted in Heritage

Halcyon’s approach is guided by the words of Henry Royce: “Take the best that exists and make it better.” Through the brand’s remastering program, icons like the Corniche and Silver Shadow are being meticulously re-engineered for a new era—maintaining their soul while gaining silent, sustainable performance and contemporary reliability.

First customer deliveries of Halcyon commissions are scheduled to begin in late 2026, with each car built as a singular creation—an heirloom reborn for the modern age.
