Porsche’s modern-day homage to its 70s sportscar racing heritage is set to cross the block at Broad Arrow’s Zurich Auction in 2025. This example is one of just 77 Porsche 935s built to mark the brand’s 70th anniversary, and it remains a single-owner car with delivery mileage, presenting in virtually new condition.

Finished in a bespoke “Piper Green” with white accents. What’s Piper Green you ask? While Broad Arrow promises more information on the car at a later time that may or may not include more information including the paint code, the color pays tribute to David Piper’s iconic 917 K privateer racer. That original 917K was painted “BP Green”, presumably to match the colors of British Petroleum – another color you won’t find in any configurator or on Porsche Club’s Rennbow color wiki (at least at the time of this writing).

Beneath the skin, the run of modern 935s rides on the 991.2 platform and houses a 700-PS twin-turbo flat-six, good for 691 horsepower. And though it’s basis is the 991.2 911, the 935 is more than just a collector’s piece. Its hardware is motorsport-grade: FIA-spec roll cage, racing bucket seat, 115-liter fuel cell, and a full fire suppression system. Performance numbers underline the seriousness—zero to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and an estimated top speed of 330 km/h.

Completing the package, the car is offered with its factory tools, Swiss taxes already paid, and a presentation that is as close to delivery condition as one can get.
