Cumulus Blue hits a sweet spot for special paint – definitely different, yet subtle enough that it doesn’t scream look at me. Effectively, it’s like a robin’s egg blue and subtler than more common light blues such as Gulf Blue.

Here’s it’s been painted on an Audi S5 Sportback. Similar to Cumulus Blue, the S5 Sportback offers higher performance packaged in a subtler form.

Sometimes the whole Gulf Racing thing can go a little overboard. It get’s done, and it get’s done a lot, but doesn’t always work… a little too ambitiously racey for a road car.
