Given all Ferrari F40s produced by the factory were red-over-red, this means any F40 not appearing in red has been repainted. Of course, playing in the rare air of Ferrari F40s, one can assume a color change done after the fact will likely be done correctly… and most tastefully in this case given its Azzurro Hyperion, a shade of silvery blue, over blue interior.

Known as the “Blue Chip F40”, this car is a late production car sold new to Bologna. Since then, it’s been “tastefully enhanced” with upgrades like an F40 LM gearbox, Tubi exhaust, improved wastegates, KW fully adjustable suspension with lift kit and air conditioning. It also received larger 355 mm Brembo GT brakes that required 18-inch recreations of the F40’s center lock alloys that were done faithfully to the original design. These changes, along with the paint, were performed in 2021 via UK-based Furlonger Specialist Cars.
