While not Tailored in a traditional sense- at least as far as our normal content is concerned- this 1996 911 Turbo certainly was built with a very specific purpose in mind. If you were a subscriber to any of the major US-based Auto mags in the 90s, this car needs no introduction. But if you weren’t, here are the cliff’s notes: Jeff Zwart had this then-new 911 Turbo which was displayed at the New York Auto Show, prepped by Millen Motorsports and Andial to participate in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. His time was 12:34, which was good enough for first place in the High Performance Showroom Stock class. He then sold it to a friend in Fresno, CA who added 4,000 miles over 15 years before selling to a New York based collector. So far as we can tell after a restoration at Callas Rennsport, the car is now offered in the Netherlands on behalf of that owner. Whatever the case, this is your chance to own what is, in our eyes, by far the most notable 993 Turbo in existence.
