Despite the potential for being dismissed as simply ‘beige’ by onlookers, Porsche’s Geyser Grey Metallic is a pretty interesting color in the eyes of Tailored Driver. Most commonly seen on the 50th Anniversary 911, Geyser is an off-white with a fairly subtle metallic flake for some added dynamism. The 991-generation GT3 Touring is a home run in our books, but the aforementioned Geyser Grey Metallic paint and hounds tooth insert Carbon Buckets elevate this 911 to grand slam territory.

And while all of those had the base 911 drivetrain, Porsche also specially built a Graphite Grey Turbo S 50th Anniversary Edition for none other than Jerry Seinfeld. That car is currently up for sale on Bring a Trailer.

European Market Find: Restored 1980 BMW 323i in Biscay Blue

Though not as iconic as the 2002 that came before it, nor as loved by enthusiasts as the E30 that came after it, BMW’s E21 3-Series still captures that classic 80s BMW style and makes for an excellent driver… particularly in top-of-the-heap 323i form.
