The car was delivered new via Ferrari of Washington in Sterling, VA. It is believed to be the second-ever Ferrari to be finished in Blue Mariner, the first being an F430.

It may look like a vintage 911 build like so many others do in this top tier reimagining space, but the Ruf CTR is a whole other animal with its carbon monocoque chassis. Such an exotic chassis configuration makes it very exclusive. In fact, it’s #25 of just 50 produced.
Mercedes made big news at the 1957 Geneva Motor Show when it revealed the 300 SL Roadster as a replacement for the iconic 300 SL Coupe also known as the “Gullwing”. Additional chassis reinforcement took weight up, though further improvements such as a fully synchronized gearbox, improved engine (dropping direct injection), rear axle design assured the newer and heavier Roadster remained one of the fastest accelerating cars available in those years.
Another tailored specification offering going up during the raft of this year’s Monterey Car Week options is this one-owner 1992 Ferrari 512 TR that’s slated to run with RM Sotheby’s. Said to be one of just two U.S. market 512 TRS painted Blu Sera Metallizzato over a Crema leather interior, it’s also the one with the lowest miles.
When it comes to pristine vintage Geländewagens (G-Wagens), few builders feature the blend of vehicle expertise along with the necessary restoration capabilities of Expedition Motor Company (EMC).
