RUF with Three Debuts at The Quail, Monterey Car Week

Monterey, Calif. — RUF Automobile marked a milestone at Monterey Car Week with the delivery of its first-ever customer-ordered RODEO. The off-road-capable sports car, first revealed as a concept in 2024, becomes the world’s only all-terrain production vehicle built on a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis. Finished in Jordan Black with contrasting white accents, the debut car was unveiled at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, alongside two additional RUF models: the CTR3 EVO and the production-ready TRIBUTE.

The RODEO’s design blends rugged utility with RUF performance. A widened stance, bash-bar bumpers, quad-stacked exhaust tips and broad fender flares give the car a purposeful look. Mechanical highlights include a fully adjustable all-wheel-drive system, a specialized pushrod suspension raised nearly 10 inches over RUF’s SCR, and advanced ceramic brakes. Power comes from a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six producing 610 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual transmission for an analog driving experience.

To commemorate the launch, Aloisa Ruf created a capsule collection of hand-painted RODEO jeans, each pair individually numbered. The fashion project, she explained, reflects the adventurous spirit embodied by the RODEO and will be released in limited quantities in the near future.

Joining the RODEO at Monterey was the CTR3 EVO, the most powerful car in RUF’s current lineup. Delivered in Howe White, the CTR3 EVO produces 800 horsepower from a 3.8-liter turbocharged flat-six. Its carbon-fiber body incorporates a large rear wing, aggressive diffuser, and track-focused suspension, enabling a top speed of 236 mph. The model represents the second evolution of the CTR3 and underscores RUF’s continued pursuit of uncompromising performance.

The third debut was the RUF TRIBUTE, an air-cooled sports car designed in homage to 60 years of the Porsche 911. Powered by a newly engineered 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six, the TRIBUTE delivers 550 horsepower while retaining the distinctive character of air cooling. Having passed modern emissions standards, it is the only production air-cooled model offered by an OEM today. Built on RUF’s modular carbon-fiber platform, the TRIBUTE enters production for model year 2026.

“These three cars represent the breadth of what RUF has to offer,” said Alois Ruf, president of RUF Automobile. “The RODEO is for adventure, the CTR3 EVO for ultimate performance, and the TRIBUTE for those who still love the soul of air cooling.” The trio reinforced RUF’s commitment to handbuilt craftsmanship, limited production, and preserving the analog thrill of driving — even in an age of increasing automation.
