Market Find: 2025 BMW Individual M3 in Laguna Seca Blue
Laguna Seca Blue is a recent reintroduction added to the BMW Individual palette. The color first dropped on the E46 M3, also going on other M cars throughout the years. Its return has made it a popular color amongst BMW Individual clients, and this one appears to have popped up as available at BMW Gainesville.
EU Market Find: Ex-Factory Porsche 993 Targa in Blue Turquoise plus MT6 in Belgium
In the lexicon of air-cooled Porsche 911s, the 993 Targa is both obscure and hard to find. By the final air-cooled type 993 generation, Porsche had ditched the full-width open top with roll hoop-style design it had pioneered throughout F-body, G-body and 964 generations, replacing them with a more livable (and heavier) glass panorama-style panel that slide back underneath the rear window glass. It's a design that would stick around through 996 and 997 generations. During the 993 generation, it wasn't terribly popular, making it a rare find today. Now add a very rare paint color and you have a very unique find indeed.
Market Find: 2019 Audi exclusive Aetna Blue S5 Sportback
Believed to be identical to Porsche Aetna Blue that dates back to the 356 era, a quick Googling will show that Audi exclusive has built a small number of cars in this color over the last few years. The owner/seller of this car reports, in this case, it is 1 of 1 and thus apparently the only 2019 Audi S5 Sportback built to this color... at least in this year.
Market Find: Gulf Racing Themed 2024 Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Sometimes the whole Gulf Racing thing can go a little overboard. It get's done, and it get's done a lot, but doesn't always work... a little too ambitiously racey for a road car. The 911 GT3 RS though, it's already got heavy racecar feel to it anyway, and those aerodynamics functional. So, spec in Gulf Blue with Weissach Package, orange stitching and orange graphics and fight the urge to logo it up and we'd argue this is one of the cooler livery-inspired 992 GT3 RS specifications we've seen.
Market Find: 2006 Porsche Paint to Sample Riviera Blue 911 Carrera C4S Cabriolet
Will·
It may not get the love that its air-cooled ancestors receive, but the 997-generation 911 gets plenty of admiration due to it's ideal size, relatively modern tech (current, should you get PCCM), and end-of-an-era dynamics that are defining characteristics of early 2000s metal.
Market Find: 2004 BMW Individual Estoril Blue Metallic M3 Coupe
Will·
While not offered on the E46 generation M3, BMW Individual Estoril Blue was such a hit on other M cars of the day that more than a few Tailors opted to tick the box. It is much less common though, that those same Tailors continued down the path of Individual in selecting an off-menu interior as we see here.
Market Find: 2021 Audi exclusive Voodoo Blue RS 6 avant
Will·
Porsche's Paint to Sample Voodoo Blue slots right in between a number of popular Blues on the Tailored Driver spectrum- darker than Mexico Blue, lighter than Nogaro Blue, and much less bright than Riviera Blue. See here on an Audi RS 6 avant, Voodoo Blue is striking due to the sheer amount of it, although we feel it's not over the top.
Market Find: F10 BMW M5 Competition in Yas Marina Blue. Hot or Not?
Based on the reaction to this car's post on the BMW Individual Market & Discussion group on Facebook, Yas Marina Blue is a surprisingly polarizing color. Even still, it's got strong BMW heritage having been a factory option color for the F80-generation BMW M3, and like the M2's Zandvoort Blue, it was stylistically intended to hark the Bavarian blue tone in the trim-colore rhombus design of the BMW Motorsport M badge. Frankly, we're fans, but it seems opinions are definitely split.
Market Find: 2013 BMW Individual Santorini Blue M3 Competition Package
Will·
On the Tailored Driver spectrum, there are simply so many variants of Blue that the best way to describe on is quite possibly to reference others. Case in point, BMW Individual Santorini Blue featured in this instance on an E92 M3, exists somewhere between BMW's Laguna Seca Blue and Porsche's Voodoo Blue.
Jaguar Leans Heavily on Drama and Material Fashion. Unveils Type 00 Concept.
Jaguar's been raising a bit of an uproars these last few weeks as it wiped away its historic imprint on the internet, replacing it first with avantgarde androgynous fashion video shorts and then hints of a car. Now, ahead of the launch of its roadgoing new EV products, it's unveiled the Type 00 Concept that's a bold and brutal design laden heavily with high fashion color and materials? Is it a brilliant move or a grand folly? Time will tell.
