Euro Market Find: Green-on-Green 1979 Saab 99 Turbo a Rare Sedan
Green over green is a unique thing, even if the Pistachio Green paint of this Saab 99 Turbo was a standard color.
EU Market Find: BMW Individual Messing Metallic over two-tone Olive leather 523i
Will·
It pleases me beyond belief to finally feature a Messing Metallic BMW as a Market Find here on Tailored Driver. And after such a personally painful wait, it's even more exciting that this Messing also features a two-tone BMW Individual interior with both Light Olive and Dark Olive leather, and a subtle yet tasteful Alpina chin spoiler.
Market Find: 2019 Piper Tribute Porsche 935 Set for Broad Arrow Zurich Auction
One-of-77 Porsche 935 in bespoke Piper Green heads to Zurich with delivery mileage and motorsport pedigree.
EU Market Find: Porsche 911 GT3 in Racing Green Metallic
Will·
While opinions around our offices certainly vary when it comes to a re-spray, our feelings toward Porsche models wearing Racing Green Metallic- their take on Aston Martin's color bearing the same name- are completely aligned. Case in point is this 996.1 GT3, found at Best Motoring in France.
Market Find: Audi exclusive Sonoma Green Matte Effect RS 6 Avant Performance
Will·
This week has been admittedly California-based RS 6 Avant Performance heavy, but we saved the most impressive for last. Shown here in Audi exclusive Sonoma Green Matte Effect, this Tailored Driver looks downright aggressive- bonus points for bicolor wheels in place of the more commonly seen all-black rollers.
Market Find: Volkswagen Spektrum Cliff Green Golf R
Will·
Perhaps one of the more striking of Volkswagen’s Spektrum colors, this Cliff Green Golf R is sure to stand out regardless of your surroundings. More McLaren than MQB, Cliff is quite similar to the Woking firm’s Mantis Green which could either be a very good or very not-good thing depending on your appetite for attention.
Market Find: E61 BMW 5 Series Touring Converted to M5
Straight out of the gate, it's not a BMW Individual color. So, is it a rare factory spec? Not exactly, but we're going to include it anyway. What we have here is an enthusiast built E61-era 5 Series Touring converted to M5 specification. Even better, the build looks primarily to factory specification.
European Market Find: 1993 Porsche 911 Speedster in Wimbledon Green
Wimbledon Green was a standard color in the 964 era. Even still, it was rare on the whole 964 much less on the limited production 911 Speedster. As a result, the car you see here is one of just seven produced worldwide in the hue.
Market Find: BMW Individual Oxford Green X5 M
Will·
While it may be difficult to categorize a 600+ horsepower SUV as understated, we feel that this Tailored Driver might just fit the description. BMW Individual Oxford Green's take rate remains criminally low, perhaps due to the understated nature of it referenced previously, but in our eyes it doesn't get much better.
Market Find: Audi exclusive Green R8 V10 performance
Will·
Another day, another just Green find. As we've said before here on Tailored Driver, colors tend to cluster, and Green (also referred to as Porsche's Viper Green which is different than Audi's) is the latest version of that.
