Acquired Taste Market Find: Estoril Blue Audi S7 with Avantgarde Interior Choice
When it comes to Audi exclusive builds for the USA, cars with special exterior paint are most likely to be encountered. Special interiors are rare, and extravagantly custom interiors are even rarer. Take for example this Estoril Blue S7 Sportback, looking pretty normal on the outside. Open a door and climb inside though, and you'll find a multi-tone interior likely very specifically made for the car's original owner.
EU Market Find: 1 of 50 Swiss BMW E30 M3 Johnny Cecotto Edition
Why We Love It:
The E30 generation M3 is already one of the most sought-after classic BMWs on the planet, now throw in one of the rare limited editions and that compounds the value to enthusiasts – particularly enthusiasts of the 80s “rad-era” variety. In this case, the E30 M3 in question is a 1990, one the Johnny Cecotto Limited Edition models, and one of just 50 to be sold to in Swiss specification.

Market Find: Jerry Seinfeld’s 2014 911 50th Anniversary Edition Turbo S Coupe on BaT
In 2014, Porsche celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the 911 with a special "50th Anniversary Edition" model that utilized the then-wider body of the 991. 1963 were built to this specification, most easily recognizable for their Fuchs style wheels, houndstooth seats, and only available in either darker Graphite Grey (graphitgrau; non-metallic UNI; C2C2; Porsche) or lighter Geyser Grey. And while all of those had the base 911 drivetrain, Porsche also specially built a Graphite Grey Turbo S 50th Anniversary Edition for none other than Jerry Seinfeld. That car is currently up for sale on Bring a Trailer.

European Market Find: Rubystone Red Porsche 968, Low Mileage / High Price
The Porsche 968 is (or rather was) one of the last good deals in the Porsche market. It's also arguably one of the best Porsches of the transaxle era. And while the European market only Clubsport or the super rare Turbo are the big money versions, super low mileage, great spec and incredible condition can approach 911 money.
European Market Find: Mystery Blue 1999 Mercedes-Benz E 55 AMG Avantgarde Wagon
Hear us out. Yes, we know the E 55 AMG Station Wagon was sold in the United States. They're exceedingly rare, especially in solid survivor condition, but they were sold here. Still, anyone who loves these cars or is seeking a unique long roof may find this one worth going through the extra effort of importation. That it's old enough for easy import is one obvious reason, but more so is the unique build specification this car got from the factory. This sort of specification would have been extremely difficult if not impossible for anyone in North America to order, so it's worth noting... even if it does have a dash of turn-of-the-century Y2K kitsch in the color choices.
