A modern Porsche, in Paint to Sample Graphite Blue Metallic, for $32k. Say what you will, but that's a compelling statement. Graphite Blue Metallic was one of the more interesting standard colors from the 991 generation of Porsche's 911, appearing nearly Nardo Grey at first glance, but with just enough cyan to have a clear differentiation.

Lamborghini's Ad Personam Verde Draco Metallic was most famously used on Lamborghini's Murcelago press car that was thrashed on Top Gear, and second most famously on VinWiki founder and Cannonballer Ed Bolian's resprayed high-mile LP640. But even with that relatively high level of notoriety and our opinion that it's absolutely stunning, take rate on the vibrant albeit muted green is exceedingly low.

The Audi S4 is a damn fine sports sedan, and we feel it represents a fairly good value in the used car market- even when Audi exclusive paint has been applied. What's more compelling for this particular example is that of the roughly 80 pre-approved Audi exclusive hues available to customers in 2018, Graphite Blue Metallic was not one of them.

At the offices of Tailored Driver, we love to put ourselves in the shoes of our Market Find's original Tailors and try to imagine how conversations went while curating and submitting each order. With this Paint to Sample Meteor Grey Metallic 991-generation GT3, we'd assume that a 997-generation GT3 owner walked into the Porsche dealer in Plano, TX after being told that the then-new 2018 model would be available with three pedals for what was assumed to be the last time.

When paired with Porsche's sporting GT3 variant of it's iconic 911, Viola Purple Metallic represents a juxtaposition that proves its Tailor is not one to take themselves too seriously.

Chosen as the launch color for their instant classic 997.2 GT3 RS, Porsche's Grey Black exists at the crossroads of dynamic and drab. Simple enough in theory, Grey Black is impossibly deep in the right lighting, trending much lighter or darker depending on conditions. We personally find this application exceptionally interesting on the range topping Turbo S E-Hybrid, due to it's understated curb presence (minus the Acid Green painted brake calipers and E-Hybrid badging) while also packing a combined 680hp from its twin-turbo V8 gas and hybrid electric motors.
