Tailored Driver Launches New Podcast

With the continued growth in attention being paid to the tailored automotive space, the timing seemed appropriate for Tailored Driver to launch a podcast. Inspired by some of our favorites such as Spike’s Car Radio and The Smoking Tire, not to mention deep-dive brand enthusiast podcasts like the Porsche Club Insider Podcast, we wanted to create something specifically for tailored vehicles. This is that podcast.

This is Tailored Driver. What Is Weekly Driver.
Conscious that the entire automotive sector is so much more broad than a specific niche, we wanted to create a weekly cadence podcast that will operate as a hub, where current automotive projects such as TailoredDriver.com and other projects by our team and others in our orbit are able to branch off the Weekly Driver Podcast like a spoke. This will help us hit our goal of providing episode on a weekly basis without having to focus too heavily on any one niche – like the tailored and remastered space for Tailored Driver, the Audi Space for ooooIYKYK, and other automotive spokes you can expect over time.

In short, the podcast will include a major focus on Tailored Driver relevant content, but it won’t be just about tailored subjects.

How Will That Work?
We’re going to distribute the Weekly Driver podcast in three different ways. First will be standard podcast distribution on most major podcast platforms – Spotify, Apple, Amazon and more. Here, the series will be all under one Weekly Driver banner, with episode thumbnails and titles designed to let you know what the subject of that episode is.

On YouTube, the plan will be slightly different. Here, we’ve set up a Weekly Driver Podcast channel where all episodes will be listed, plus playlists for each recurring theme’s spoke that represents a sub podcast. Each of those will also get playlists on their respective sites, meaning the Tailored Driver podcast episodes will populate a Tailored Driver Podcast playlist on the Tailored Driver YouTube channel.

Finally, we’re going to run stories on all relevant podcast episodes on their respective blogs. For instance, we’ve got our first introductory episode live. So, you’ll find that via all the associated links below. You’ll also hear more about that first episode here on the blog in a post tomorrow, with future posts about future episodes running in this feed so that you know when a new episode drops. Since not all Weekly Driver episodes will cover Tailored Driver subjects, the Tailored Driver series won’t be dropping at a weekly cadence and allow us to focus on creating quality episodes.
