Highland Heather: Halcyon’s Electrified Vision for the Rolls-Royce Corniche
Halcyon is set to make waves at this year’s Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace (5–7 September 2025)with the unveiling of its first fully remastered and electrified Rolls-Royce Corniche, known as the Highland Heather commission.
Inspired by the rolling moors of Scotland, Highland Heather represents Halcyon’s philosophy of taking the best and making it better. The name quietly nods to Rolls-Royce’s pioneering 1907 Scottish reliability trials, while its execution demonstrates a vision of how timeless classics can thrive in the modern era.
Every Halcyon creation begins with a bare-metal, concours-level restoration, requiring more than 2,000 hours of craftsmanship at the company’s Surrey facility. From this perfect foundation, Halcyon integrates modern technology while preserving the essence of the original design.

The company’s sister brand, Evice Technologies, has developed an in-house 800V electric platform delivering 500 horsepower without adding weight to the chassis. Paired with adaptive suspension, regenerative braking, and selectable drive modes—Drive, Spirited, and Touring—the result is a Rolls-Royce that remains cloud-like in its ride yet more composed than ever before.
Halcyon will produce just 60 one-of-one commissions, each shaped through its atelier process. No request is too bold, with owners encouraged to collaborate directly with Halcyon’s designers—or even world-renowned artists—to create a true reflection of their vision.
Discreet modern luxuries such as concealable infotainment with wireless CarPlay, heated and ventilated seating, cruise control, and a bespoke audio system are seamlessly integrated, ensuring the driving experience is effortless and modern while maintaining a tactile, analogue character.

The debut car wears a Purple Moorland finish, evoking the subtle hues of Scottish heather in bloom. The motif continues inside with engraved details and bespoke artistry, culminating in a centrepiece known as the Halcyon Gallery—a water-inspired sculpture symbolising Highland rivers.
Deliveries of the first commissions are slated to begin in late 2026, but visitors to Hampton Court Palace this September will be the first to see the Highland Heather commission in the metal. For Rolls-Royce enthusiasts and collectors, it’s a statement that the most iconic cars of the 20th century can remain as relevant—and as breathtaking—as ever.
