Porsche Completes a One-Off Vision with the Panamera Turbo ‘Sonderwunsch’ Interior
Porsche has unveiled the interior of the Panamera Turbo ‘Sonderwunsch’, completing a bespoke commission first revealed in exterior form earlier this year. Debuting at the Icons of Porsche festival in Dubai, the finished cabin demonstrates the full potential of the brand’s Sonderwunsch program—an invitation to turn highly personal ideas into factory-executed reality.
The exterior of the car set a high bar, defined by a two-tone fade from Leblon Violet Metallic to deep black, topped with gold-flake clearcoat that gives the paint remarkable depth. The interior responds with its own gradient: a transition from black to metallic Sunset Red across key surfaces including the seat centers, parcel shelf, and the car’s document folder. This careful echo of the exterior colours ensures that the cabin feels like an extension of the design language rather than a separate theme.

A new contrast colour, Avium Metallic—developed specifically for this commission—further ties the two environments together. On the outside, Avium accents the wheels, window trim, and pinstripes. Inside, it appears on the centre-console switches, the Sonderwunsch script, the Sport Chrono bezel and hands, the Drive Mode ring, door handles, speaker grilles, trim elements, and even the seat piping. Against black leather surfaces with Barrique Red double stitching, the palette strikes a balance between elegance and modernity.
Material craft plays an equally central role. Black-stained chestnut wood appears on the door panels, while custom badges on the front seats display the geographical coordinates of Zuffenhausen and Leipzig—the two Porsche locations responsible for the Panamera’s development and production. Barrique Red seat belts add a subtle layer of contrast.

Beyond colour and trim, the Sonderwunsch team also explored how unusual luxury requests can be brought to life. Two conceptual features illustrate the program’s flexibility: a bespoke cigar humidor and a Champagne cooler. The humidor, housed within the centre-console compartment, uses cedarwood inserts and a hygrometer to maintain ideal humidity, with inserts designed to hold accessories such as a cutter and lighter. The illuminated Champagne cooler, integrated into the rear seating area, accommodates a small bottle and two glasses stored in the armrest. Both features are finished in Avium and carry Sonderwunsch branding.
The luggage compartment receives the same degree of attention. Fully lined in leather, it features black anodised metal protection framed in Avium, along with a loading sill plate finished in black lacquer and embedded with real gold flakes. Illuminated door sills, a black leather key case with Avium stitching, and a matching charging cable bag complete the commission.

“The interior of the Panamera Turbo ‘Sonderwunsch’ embodies our passion for making every customer’s personal dream a reality with the utmost precision and attention to detail,” says Alexander Fabig, Vice President Individualisation and Classic. In this case, the result is a Panamera defined not by what is available in a catalogue, but by a vision carried through with extraordinary cohesion and craftsmanship—an example of the Sonderwunsch philosophy at its most expressive.
