While making my rounds at TX2K 2026, I noticed a shade of blue that was very familiar. You see, I grew up around the B5 era of Audis, and to me, Nogaro Blue was always the one I wanted. It was a time when standard colors were actually a lot of fun.
So I walked around, trying to figure out what the deal was. I saw the Heffner Twin Turbo decal. I saw the sticky tires. I asked the owner, “What shade of blue is this?” He said, “It’s Nogaro Blue.” I was like, “Ah, throwback to the B5 era.”
I’m not sure if I heard him correctly, but he mentioned he didn’t know it was an Audi exclusive color when he bought the car, and that he has another Audi exclusive car on order. The loud racing really makes for short conversations.
