We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. Color over color is a very unique and distinctive decision and frankly we’re here for it nearly every single time. In this case, that color is Paint to Sample Speed Yellow on a 718 Spyder RS – not an especially uncommon PTS color that is occasionally a standard option, but one we’re still quite fond of nonetheless.
What really makes this Spyder that much more standout though is the interior. It’s also mainly yellow leather seating surfaces as well as Speed Yellow deviated stitching where it counts.
This configuration won’t be for everyone, but it definitely works on a bolder car like a Weissach Package 718 Spyder RS. It also harkens the RS Spyder era of Speed Yellow LMP2 cars campaigned by Penske in the American Le Mans series back in the day.
