Range Rover will use the 2026 Championships at Wimbledon to provide one of the earliest public looks at its upcoming electric flagship, previewing the Range Rover Electric as part of an extended multi-year partnership with the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
While the partnership renewal keeps Range Rover in its familiar role as the tournament’s Official Vehicle Partner, the most notable detail this year is the appearance of the brand’s first fully electric model ahead of customer ordering beginning later in 2026.
Displayed within the grounds of the All England Club, the preview vehicle wears a heritage-inspired metallic British Racing Green finish that underscores the model’s British identity. Although technical specifications remain under wraps, Range Rover says the vehicle will deliver zero tailpipe emissions while maintaining the refinement, effortless performance and all-terrain capability expected of the flagship SUV.

The company describes the Range Rover Electric as combining a serene, handcrafted cabin with smooth power delivery and the traditional capability that has defined the model line for decades. The preview offers one of the clearest indications yet of how Range Rover intends to position its first battery-electric vehicle: not as a separate product, but as the next evolution of the existing Range Rover formula.
Away from the display stand, electrification is already playing a role in tournament operations. Range Rover will continue transporting players and officials throughout Wimbledon using a fleet of Range Rover and Range Rover Sport plug-in hybrid models.
The plug-in hybrid fleet takes advantage of the All England Club’s expanding charging infrastructure, allowing the vehicles to maximize their electric driving range of up to 75 miles. The charging network is powered by purchased renewable electricity and forms part of Wimbledon’s broader objective of reaching net-zero operational emissions by 2030.

The Championships, which run from June 29 through July 12, also remain one of Range Rover’s most visible annual partnerships. Branding will once again appear on the iconic speed-of-serve displays on Centre Court and No. 1 Court, placing the luxury SUV brand at the center of one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events.
For enthusiasts, however, the real attraction may be the opportunity to see the Range Rover Electric in person. While Land Rover continues to keep many technical details under wraps, the Wimbledon display serves as an early indication of the specification and positioning of the brand’s first production EV: a full-size luxury SUV intended to deliver zero-emissions driving without sacrificing the comfort, craftsmanship and capability that define the Range Rover name.
