One of the final four Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf sedans built is scheduled to cross the block at Broad Arrow’s The Quail Auction during Monterey Car Week. Produced in 2018 as a Final Edition, the car represents the closing chapter of Aston Martin’s revival of the Lagonda name and one of the rarest production models the company has built in the modern era.
Finished in Ultramarine Black, the Final Edition specification draws inspiration from Lagonda’s Art Deco heritage. The exterior is distinguished by sterling silver Lagonda wing badges with red enamel, Volcano Red side strake housings, black mesh inserts and unique Final Edition detailing. Inside, Aurora Blue trim is paired with Q White Essence semi-aniline leather, Caspian Blue carpeting, bespoke quilting and matching Aurora Blue leather luggage created specifically for the model.
Power comes from Aston Martin’s naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 producing 537 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed Touchtronic III automatic transmission. Performance figures include a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed exceeding 195 mph, placing the Taraf among the quickest ultra-luxury sedans of its era.

The Taraf occupied a unique position within Aston Martin’s lineup. The Final Edition marked the end of both Taraf production and Aston Martin’s final V12-powered Lagonda before the brand shifted its attention toward an electrified future.
