The Porsche 964 tends to look particularly appropriate in the stronger colors of the early 1990s, and this 1992 Carrera 4 Targa currently offered in Prague is a good example. The Czech listing identifies the exterior simply as yellow, though the color appears to be the period Porsche shade Summer Yellow rather than Speed Yellow that tends to appear darker and more saturated.
Without knowing for sure, just which yellow it is remains debatable. Summer Yellow is typical of this period, though Speed Yellow was introduced that same year of 1992 on the 911 Turbo. This car being a January 1992 build though and the photos appearing closer to Summer Yellow, we’re fairly confident in our guess.
Neither color would technically be Paint to Sample, but either yellow would be rare in this period, as is the Targa body style.
