Totem Automobili has revealed “Lyla,” a GT Super 26 commissioned by a Californian client through its Totem Individual Program. The remaster introduces the company’s new Turismo 70 livery, pairing a gray-and-white exterior with an interior featuring Corian controls, Prince of Wales cloth and original Heuer timing instruments.
The commission draws on 1970s motorsport, industrial design and furnishings. Those references carry through the car’s graphics, materials and mechanical details, while the underlying GT Super specification includes a carbon-fiber monocoque, twin-turbocharged V6 and six-speed gated manual transmission.

TURISMO 70
Lyla’s exterior combines metallic Grigio Milano with a three-layer pearlescent white finish across the front section and rear light surrounds. The contrasting panels reference the color blocking of 1970s racing cars without adopting a specific historic competition livery.
A complete exterior and interior carbon package adds exposed gloss-finished Totem Design weave, paired with satin nickel trim. Inside, black Nappa leather receives contrasting white stitching, while gray-and-white Prince of Wales textile inserts connect the cabin to the exterior palette.

CORIAN AT THE CONTROLS
Among the more unusual specification choices is Corian, the acrylic-based solid-surface material more commonly associated with furniture and interior architecture. Totem uses it for the gear knob, machined from solid, and incorporates it into a bespoke steering wheel alongside machined aluminum.
The material adds a different texture to the leather, carbon fiber and metal elsewhere in the cabin. Its use also extends the commission’s period references beyond racing equipment to the industrial design of the same era.
An exposed Skeleton gear tower puts the manual transmission’s operating mechanism on display. Totem’s carbo-titanium steering-column switchgear continues that approach, combining carbon fiber, titanium and visible mechanical elements.

PERIOD HEUER INSTRUMENTATION
An original Swiss-made Heuer Trackstar timing set provides a direct link to period motorsport. Dating from the 1970s, the pair of instruments uses sexagesimal and decimal scales for measuring and comparing times in regularity competition.
Totem developed a dedicated mount machined from solid to accommodate the two units, integrating them into the cabin rather than attaching them as an aftermarket accessory. Alongside the gated shifter and exposed gear tower, the timing set gives Lyla a distinctly mechanical interior.

TWIN-TURBO V6 AND A GATED MANUAL
Beneath the bespoke finishes, Lyla retains the GT Super’s carbon-fiber monocoque and full carbon body. Its Italtecnica-developed 2.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 produces up to 640 hp at 7,200 rpm, delivered through a six-speed gated manual transmission.
Double-wishbone suspension at both axles, electronically adjustable ORAM dampers and Brembo brakes complete the mechanical package. Totem has not disclosed pricing for the commission.
