The Audi S8 is already an excellent car made even more legendary through its iconic association with the movie Ronin. That was the original D2-generation S8, and while the car has had several handsome next-generations since, this Audi exclusive Goodwood Green example harks back to the D2 era that birthed Goodwood Green as a color.
Here, it’s an excellent pairing of Goodwood Green over Saiga Beige on this 2021 Audi S8, the now Audi exclusive exterior color gives the big sedan a more individual identity while preserving the understated appearance that has long been part of the model’s appeal. It is a combination that puts the specification ahead of any need for added visual drama.
Underneath is Audi’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, rated at 563 hp and paired with an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic and quattro all-wheel drive. The long-wheelbase body provides the space expected of Audi’s flagship sedan, with performance hardware that gives the S8 a broader brief than simply covering highway miles.
The dealership lists the S8 Executive Package, full and extended leather packages, 21-inch double-spoke wheels and Night Vision Assistant. Other listed equipment includes Bang & Olufsen audio, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, a head-up display and a rear-seat remote control. Saiga Beige leather adds a lighter contrast to the green exterior and suits the car’s luxury emphasis.
Audi Nashua advertises this S8 with a one-owner, clean CARFAX history and 86,613 miles. The listed vehicle price is $41,993, with a $595 administration fee bringing the advertised total to $42,588 before taxes and registration. The mileage makes service records an important part of the conversation, but the color combination gives this example a clear reason to make the shortlist.
