Land Rover Classic has broadened its remastered Classic Defender V8 lineup with the introduction of two additional body styles, headlined by the long-awaited return of the 110 Double Cab Pick-Up. The announcement accompanies a striking one-off commission showcasing the latest capabilities of the company’s Works Bespoke division.
Created for a single client, the collection consists of four remastered Classic Defender V8s spanning the 90 Station Wagon, 90 Soft Top, 110 Station Wagon and the newly available 110 Double Cab Pick-Up. While the matching quartet demonstrates the breadth of Land Rover Classic’s customization program, the biggest news is that the Double Cab is now available to commission for other customers.
Also joining the lineup is the practical two-seat 90 Hard Top, giving buyers five body styles to choose from when ordering a remastered Classic Defender V8.

A PAINT FINISH THAT CHANGES WITH THE LIGHT
The commissioned vehicles are finished in a bespoke Spectral Green paint developed specifically for the client. Depending on viewing angle and lighting conditions, the finish shifts between green, purple and gold, creating an effect rarely seen on production-based vehicles.
The paint extends beyond the bodywork to the diamond-turned 18-inch Sawtooth alloy wheels, exterior badging and sections of the dashboard. Each vehicle required nearly 400 hours of work in Land Rover Classic’s paint facility, covering everything from preparation and color matching to the final polish.
Contrasting Icy White roofs, expedition cages, bonnet lettering and hand-painted coachlines complete the exterior.

BESPOKE CONTINUES INSIDE
The interior follows the same bespoke philosophy, featuring semi-aniline Bridge of Weir Vanilla leather with green contrast stitching inspired by the exterior finish. Bridge of Weir leather also surrounds the Superwool carpets, while embossed Defender branding adds another handcrafted touch.
According to Land Rover Classic, Works Bespoke customers can specify virtually any paint color, whether inspired by another vehicle, an object, or even a favorite landscape, making every commission unique.

MODERN TECHNOLOGY JOINS A CLASSIC ICON
Alongside the new body styles, Land Rover Classic has introduced a number of technology upgrades for future commissions.
A newly developed 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system integrates seamlessly into the classic dashboard while adding wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, along with Bluetooth, DAB digital radio and a 13-band graphic equalizer. Buyers can also specify a discreet reversing camera integrated into the rear bumper or optional rear step.
Additional personalization options include expanded roof colors, new finishes for the heavy-duty 16-inch Wolf wheels, and a Trophy Pack featuring Narvik Black Gloss accents on the bonnet, roof, rear door and wheel arches.

CLASSIC LOOKS, MODERN PERFORMANCE
Every Classic Defender V8 begins life as an original Defender built between 2012 and 2016 before undergoing a comprehensive remastering process by Land Rover Classic.
Each is powered by a naturally aspirated V8 producing 405 PS (399 horsepower) and receives a range of specially engineered performance upgrades designed to complement the additional power while preserving the Defender’s unmistakable character.
With the addition of the 110 Double Cab Pick-Up and 90 Hard Top, Land Rover Classic has expanded the scope of its remastered Defender program beyond its traditional station wagon offerings, giving collectors and enthusiasts more opportunities than ever to commission a factory-restored Defender tailored to their exact tastes.
