Sometimes cars like the one you see here may very well push the boundary of what we’d call “tailored”. In this case, it’s an ultimate OEM+ build or a clone in the what-if sense as if the factory ever built what you see here.
We’ve covered M3 Touring conversions before, so consider this one in that vein. Someone took a basic Deep Black Pearl Golf Alltrack wagon and converted it to the more potent Golf R spec. Yes, VW did build a Mk7 Golf R wagon in Europe and they built the Mk7 Golf Alltrack for North America, but they never built an R version of the Alltrack anywhere. That makes this car quite unique and largely done so using factory parts.
