Limited-run Audis have always occupied a unique corner of the enthusiast market, but the 2021 Audi RS 6 Avant RS Tribute Edition stands apart even in that context. One of just 25 examples built for the U.S., the RS Tribute Edition was Audi’s nod to the original RS2 Avant —finished in Nogaro Blue with period-inspired details. This particular car, chassis #17, takes that already rare foundation and pushes it well beyond with a blend of OEM and a few aftermarket modifications.

The twin-turbo V8 has been reworked with Akrapovič exhaust and downpipes, an Eventuri carbon intake, and VF Engineering calibration, elevating output beyond stock figures. Supporting hardware, including a CETE lowering module, sharpens the stance while maintaining daily drivability—very much in line with the RS 6’s super wagon you can actually use mission.
Inside, the transformation is more defined. A full European-market 25RS interior conversion has been executed to factory standard, including seat upholstery, Alcantara trim, and model-specific details like puddle lamps and badging. Blue carbon accents, an Alcantara headliner, and an AskCarbon steering complete the mix.

What separates this car further from typical U.S.-spec examples is the Euro lighting and mirror setup—matrix-activated headlights, animated rear lighting sequences, and proper convex mirrors. These are the kinds of subtle upgrades that tend to resonate more with enthusiast buyers. The exterior follows suit, with a full OEM carbon package supplemented by CT Carbon ground effects and a Draptec rear spoiler, while carbon ceramic brakes and OEM RS 6 performance wheels complete the look.
From a market standpoint, this is an interesting intersection. The Tribute Edition sits at the top of the C8 RS 6 hierarchy in terms of rarity and collector appeal. Layering a documented, high-end build on top of that’ll either be seen as a strength – a more compelling ownership proposition for the right buyer – or a weakness in that it is no longer its already über rare original spec. No doubt the right buyer will find it less about preservation and more about execution.
