There’s a lot to like about the car you see here. The Audi SQ5 is the higher performance variant of the four rings’ best-selling vehicle. Now throw in Audi exclusive paint and you have a very compelling case for a unique and affordable daily driver.
The color in question is Goodwood Green. Effectively, it’s Audi’s take on British Racing Green and, as Audi often does, seems to be named after a famous racing venue. Seems fitting given this weekend is the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Goodwood Green launched in the early 2000s on cars like the RS 4 Avant (B5), TT (Mk1) and S4 (B6). This long history with the brand plus the general handsomeness of a dark green combine to make it one of the more popular go-to hues in the Audi exclusive lineup.
Worth noting, one of the photos in the car listing seems to suggest the color is “District Green” – a stock paint for this era SQ5. To the trained eye, that’s clearly not the case but it was enough to cause us to run the VIN and confirm it is Goodwood with one of our Audi brand sources.
