Singer Vehicle Design will take center stage at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed as the event’s featured Central Feature marque, marking a significant milestone for the California-based company that has become synonymous with reimagined air-cooled Porsche 911s. The honor recognizes more than a decade of collaboration between Singer and Goodwood, where the company has repeatedly chosen the Festival as the venue to debut many of its most significant creations.
The Central Feature, Goodwood’s iconic sculpture that dominates the lawn in front of Goodwood House, has traditionally celebrated some of the world’s most influential automotive manufacturers and racing achievements. This year’s installation by renowned sculptor Gerry Judah will instead spotlight Singer’s distinctive philosophy of restoring and reengineering the classic Porsche 911, reflecting the company’s growing influence in the collector car world.
Singer’s presence will extend well beyond the Central Feature. Visitors will find the company displaying cars near the Stable Yard, in the Supercar Paddock and tackling the famous hillclimb throughout the weekend. The displays will showcase both the evolution of Singer’s restorations and the latest work emerging from its engineering and design teams in California and the United Kingdom.
The Festival of Speed has become the preferred stage for many of Singer’s landmark reveals. The Dynamics and Lightweighting Study (DLS) made its public debut there in 2018, followed by the Classic Turbo in 2022, the DLS Turbo in 2023 and, most recently, the Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Reimagined by Singer in 2025. Each has taken to the hillclimb immediately following its unveiling, allowing enthusiasts to see and hear the company’s latest creations in motion.
For founder, executive chairman and creative director Rob Dickinson, the recognition carries particular significance. Dickinson attended the inaugural Festival of Speed in 1993 before Singer even existed and says he never imagined the event would eventually play such an important role in the company’s story. Since Singer first appeared at Goodwood in 2015, he credits the Festival’s global audience with pushing the company to continually refine its engineering, craftsmanship and presentation under its guiding philosophy that “Everything is Important.”
Singer is arriving at Goodwood during one of its busiest years to date. The first customer deliveries of the DLS Turbo are now underway, while the recently unveiled Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet Reimagined by Singer expands the company’s growing portfolio of restoration services. Additional details about Singer’s Central Feature installation and activities during the Festival are expected to be announced closer to this summer’s event.
