Market Find: BMW Individual Verde Mantis Alpina B7 xDrive
Will·
Subtlety be damned, this Alpina B7 xDrive finished in Verde Mantis has the makings of a Tailored Driver classic. Alpina being a Tailor in its own right, this highly massaged 7-series ticks a lot of boxes for us; very luxurious cabin, 600hp under hood, and very loud exterior color- custom ordered, naturally.
Market Find: 2000 Mercedes-Benz G500 SWB Europa in Porsche Irish Green on BaT
First up, it's a repaint. We do include those here, particularly when they appear to be well done and in an interesting or popular color. In this case, the 2000 Mercedes-Benz G500 short-wheelbase hardtop you see here is painted Porsche Irish Green.
Market Find: 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring 6-speed in PTS Fjord Green on BaT
Say you don't want to play the game - buy the watches, the sacrificial Taycan or wrestle for a PTS allotment that'll take for what feels like forever. If that describes you, then finding a tasteful specification existing car to sink your teeth into is the best possible solution. That in mind, may we present this paint-to-sample Fjord Green 911 GT3 Touring with manual transmission and an interior of Exclusive Manufaktur leather in light grey.
Market Find: Gulf Blue E36 M3 Coupé on Bring a Trailer
Though not an uncommon color by any stretch, we can't say we've ever seen Gulf Blue on a BMW before. Worth noting then, the car you see here isn't some über rare BMW Individual build but rather an extensive respray.
Market Find: BMW Individual Atlantis Blue Metallic E36 328i Touring on Bring a Trailer
Here's an interesting long roof we've found on Bring a Trailer. The car is a BMW Individual 328i wagon from the E36 era. Special painted Atlantis Metallic over black leather, it sports the European specification M52 inline six-cylinder with five-speed manual transmission.
Market Find: 1997 Range Rover Vitesse in AA Yellow
In 1997, Land Rover made a limited run Range Rover 4.6 HSE Vitesse editions. 250 were built, in either red or yellow. The high-impact yellow, as you can see here, is known as AA Yellow. It was paired with Ash Black leather.
Market Find: 1975 Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 in Azzurro Blue Metallic
There's no doubt that the Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 is a quirky thing in the lexicon of Maranello. The only Ferrari from the factory to have ever been designed by Bertone, it's also a rare 2+2 mid-engine configuration that was sold and badged as a Dino in Europe as this one was.
Market Find: Porsche 911T Build in Gulf Blue
Okay, it's a build. However, it's a build done in an exceedingly factory-like appearance. This car began life as a 911T, though as it sits it's a lot more widebody RSR style. And whereas modern cars painted Gulf Blue throw a nod at the rich tradition of Gulf Racing liveries on old Porsches, an old racing Porsche in Gulf Blue is a whole other level of tribute.
Market Find: Ipanema Blue Metallic Porsche 911 GT3 RS
A very rare color according to Porsche Club of America's Rennbow color wiki, Ipanema Blue Metallic was offered in 2011, making it 997 era. Today, it's also Paint to Sample on this very sharp-looking and barely driven 2024 992 GT3 RS.
Market Find: 11K Mile Audi R8 GT in Samoa Orange on Bring a Trailer
Though popular amongst Audi exclusive clientele, Samoa Orange wasn’t an Audi exclusive color on the R8 GT. In fact, it is believed to have debuted as a launch color on that first limited-series GT Coupé, then has graced a few other special editions over the years.
