For such a handsome color, you'd think that Bordeaux Red Pearl would be one of the more common Volkswagen Spektrum program colors- but that's not the case. This is it. This is the only one to be Tailored in this incredibly handsome variant of burgundy.

The CarFax may not be the cleanest, but this Volkswagen Spektrum Prussian Blue Metallic Golf R is quite likely the cheapest we've seen so far. Benefitting from one of the more tame Spektrum colors, it could be the ideal daily driver for someone who just wants to blend in while also being an outlier.

Subtlety be damned, this Alpina B7 xDrive finished in Verde Mantis has the makings of a Tailored Driver classic. Alpina being a Tailor in its own right, this highly massaged 7-series ticks a lot of boxes for us; very luxurious cabin, 600hp under hood, and very loud exterior color- custom ordered, naturally.
Market Find: 2019 Brewster Green on Green 911 GT2 RS
This 911 may be the trifecta. It's a GT2 RS, is most definitely a Sonderwunsch heavy hitter and features a tone-on-tone, green-over-green spec.

We'll be the first to admit it- of all the Tailors featured in our regular rotation, Q by Aston Martin generally isn't one of them- and that's a shame. Aston is, after all, a legendary brand that makes a stunning car which also happens to depreciate like a rock.

While not the most staggering of all Golf R Spektrum statistics, we're somewhat surprised at the rarity of Squirrel Grey. Just 6 Volkswagen Spektrum buyers opted for a color that's equal parts unique and inoffensive. Perhaps it was the dull, pastel grey's similarity to so many other colors that were then- and still are now- somewhat in vogue.

Back in 2019, VW built a large collection of Golf R models painted in micro batches of unobtainium colors. These cars command a premium and are highly sought after when they come up online.
