This 911 may be the trifecta. It's a GT2 RS, is most definitely a Sonderwunsch heavy hitter and features a tone-on-tone, green-over-green spec.

We'll be the first to admit it- of all the Tailors featured in our regular rotation, Q by Aston Martin generally isn't one of them- and that's a shame. Aston is, after all, a legendary brand that makes a stunning car which also happens to depreciate like a rock.

While not the most staggering of all Golf R Spektrum statistics, we're somewhat surprised at the rarity of Squirrel Grey. Just 6 Volkswagen Spektrum buyers opted for a color that's equal parts unique and inoffensive. Perhaps it was the dull, pastel grey's similarity to so many other colors that were then- and still are now- somewhat in vogue.

Though VW doesn't have a tailor of their own, most regular readers of this website should by now know of the Golf Spektrum run of cars. Back in 2019, VW built a large collection of Golf R models painted in micro batches of unobtainium colors. These cars command a premium and are highly sought after when they come up online.

Tailored Driver has covered the one-year-only Volkswagen Spektrum Golf R models in the past, but this one is a bit special. Sadly not present at last weekend's gathering of R's called "Wookies in the Woods" and held annually near Robbinsville, NC- where many Spektrums were present- this particular car has plenty of VW event history.

There's no use in sugar-coating it- this RS 5 sportback has been hit. Twice. But with a cost of entry that reflects- just $40k- does this represent good Tailored Driver value for money? To us, yeah, totally.

This Tailored Driver has already started to cause somewhat of a crisis within our office. George loves the RS 5 sportback. George loves Porsche's Chalk color. But he's also picky. While not a Comp pack model, this RS 5 has just about everything he wants in a Driver.

Audi exclusive Racing Blue Mica is one of the more rare hues on the Tailored Driver spectrum, likely due to its similarity to several other hues- most notably Navarra Blue, which was an optional factory color for that year. Perhaps not wanting to pay the cost for such subtlety, prospective Tailors have missed out as Racing is both a deep and vibrant blue, reminiscent of BMW's San Marino Blue.
