It may look like a vintage 911 build like so many others do in this top tier reimagining space, but the Ruf CTR is a whole other animal with its carbon monocoque chassis. Such an exotic chassis configuration makes it very exclusive. In fact, it’s #25 of just 50 produced.

The car is painted paint-to-sample Riviera Blue that we assume is the same as Porsche Riviera Blue. That’s paired with buffalo special leather over “lollipop” fixed-back Kevlar-carbon sport seats with pepita inserts that were custom ordered for this car.

Other details on this particular build include every carbon fiber option Ruf offered, front axle lift system, paint-to-sample Titanium Matte wheels, lightweight doors and Rivera Blue highlights throughout the car.
Another tailored specification offering going up during the raft of this year’s Monterey Car Week options is this one-owner 1992 Ferrari 512 TR that’s slated to run with RM Sotheby’s. Said to be one of just two U.S. market 512 TRS painted Blu Sera Metallizzato over a Crema leather interior, it’s also the one with the lowest miles.
You may be noticing a common theme on our site these past few weeks, with seemingly endless references to RM Sotheby’s upcoming Miami Auction during Moda Miami. Simply put, when it comes to offerings with tailored specification, this auction is weighing in heavily. Take for example this 2021 Ferrari SF90 Stradale custom ordered in Rosso Dino.
With Monterey Car Week now just a few weeks away, we’re being inundated with a barrage of incredibly tailored automobiles coming up for auction with all of the prestigious auction houses that include Monterey Car Week on their annual calendars. In this case, the auction house is RM Sotheby’s and the car in question is a stunning Ferrari 599 in rare Blu Mariner over Beige leather upholstery.
This is the first time the stunning Mint Green (mintgrün; non-metallic UNI; 22R; Porsche) pair have been together on film, providing a rare chance to see, hear and experience both cars being driven as intended, as Hagerty’s Henry Catchpole puts them through their paces. In this exhilarating test, he tackles the picturesque Anglesey Circuit, capturing the raw nature, and sounds, of both cars while revealing their unique personalities.
