Porsche Cars Great Britain has unveiled a highly exclusive new model to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the marque’s arrival in the United Kingdom. Called the 911 GT3 Earls Court 51 Edition, the limited-production sports car pays tribute to the first Porsche 356 models displayed at London’s Earls Court Motor Show in 1951. Just 51 examples will be built, all destined for the UK market.
While American Porsche enthusiasts are no strangers to market-specific specials, this latest creation is among the most comprehensive country-specific editions produced by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in recent years. The car will make its public debut during Porsche’s Icons of Porsche: Sunstede Silverstone Edition event on June 20-21 at Silverstone Circuit.
The Earls Court 51 Edition begins with the current Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Package, a fitting choice given the project’s emphasis on driving purity rather than outright track performance. Porsche Cars GB specified the Touring model because of its understated appearance, manual transmission availability, and close philosophical connection to the original 356.

At the center of the package is a unique Paint to Sample Plus finish called Earls Court Green Metallic. Developed specifically for the project, the color draws inspiration from one of the 356 coupes displayed at Earls Court in 1951 while also referencing the shades long associated with British motorsport. Silver accents appear throughout the exterior, including the hood stripe, mirror caps, door handles, rear grille details, and wheel highlights. The GT3’s forged center-lock wheels are finished in matching Earls Court Green with Brilliant Silver detailing.
Inside, Porsche has gone well beyond a simple commemorative plaque. The cabin combines Night Green and Chalk Beige leather with corduroy seat inserts, drawing heavily from the materials and color palettes used in early 356 models. Paldao wood trim appears on the dashboard, doors, center console, and even the manual gearshift knob. Unique touches include embossed Earls Court logos in the headrests, Union Jack motifs on the leather sun visors, and a 356 silhouette accompanied by the phrase “driving in its purest form” on the dashboard side panel.

Mechanically, the car remains a GT3 Touring. Power comes from Porsche’s naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six producing 510 horsepower (375 kW). Buyers may choose between the standard six-speed manual gearbox or a no-cost PDK dual-clutch transmission. Manual-equipped examples reach 62 mph in 3.9 seconds and continue to a top speed of 194 mph, while PDK models reduce the sprint to 3.4 seconds.
The commemorative model includes more than just the vehicle itself. Each owner will receive a matching Porsche Design chronograph, a Night Green leather Weekender bag, a 1:18 scale model, and a coffee table book documenting the project’s development.
Pricing starts at £251,951 in the United Kingdom, positioning the Earls Court 51 Edition significantly above a standard GT3 Touring. For collectors, however, the appeal lies in its combination of low production numbers, historical significance, and extensive bespoke detailing from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur.
Alongside the new 911, Porsche Cars GB will also display a factory-recommissioned 1951 Porsche 356 finished in matching Earls Court Green. Restored by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch Classic division, the car serves as a direct link to the original vehicles that introduced the brand to British buyers three-quarters of a century ago.
