Lamborghini has marked a quarter century of official operations in Japan with one of its most culturally inspired special editions to date. Called the Revuelto Impavido, the limited-production model will be offered exclusively in Japan, with just 25 individually numbered examples created to commemorate the milestone.
Rather than relying on unique mechanical upgrades, the Revuelto Impavido turns to Lamborghini’s Ad Personam personalization program to tell its story. The result is a bespoke interpretation of the brand’s flagship V12 hybrid supercar that draws heavily from Bushido, the centuries-old Japanese code of honor centered on courage, discipline and unwavering resolve.
The name “Impavido,” Italian for fearless, reflects that philosophy. Lamborghini says the project was designed to create a dialogue between Italian design and Japanese tradition, transforming visual references from samurai armor into modern automotive design elements without compromising the Revuelto’s unmistakable identity.
Exterior graphics echo the clean, decisive motion of a katana sword, while bronze accents reference the woven silk cords that once bound together traditional samurai armor. At the front, the design incorporates themes inspired by the crests worn atop samurai helmets, while layered textures across the roof and fenders reinterpret the lacquered armor plates that gave the warriors both protection and presence.
Customers will be able to choose from four exclusive color themes, each tied to a different aspect of Japanese symbolism. Verde Campus references jade, long associated with life and prosperity. Grigio Artis Lucido celebrates the craftsmanship of the katana. Grigio Crater Matt recalls the protective authority of dark samurai armor, while Rosso Pyra takes inspiration from the famous Sanada Red, a color synonymous with bravery and discipline. Every example rides on black forged wheels with bronze brake calipers and features a bespoke interior trimmed in black leather and Corsa Tex with bronze accents, samurai-themed embroidery and an individually numbered “1 di 25” carbon-fiber plaque.
While the styling is unique, the engineering remains unchanged. The Revuelto continues to pair Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 with three electric motors and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission for a combined output of 1,015 horsepower. The all-wheel-drive hybrid flagship accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds and exceeds 217 mph, while also ushering Lamborghini’s iconic V12 into the electrified era.
Japan has become one of Lamborghini’s most important markets in Asia over the past 25 years, making a locally inspired anniversary model a fitting tribute. More than simply another limited-production special edition, the Revuelto Impavido highlights the growing role of bespoke craftsmanship within the ultra-luxury segment, where cultural storytelling and personalization increasingly define exclusivity as much as outright performance.
