Seats alone are typically out of the norm of what we tend to offer when we run a market find. However, when we find something interesting, we still think it’s worth sharing. And, by that measure, we believe these rare Laguna Seca Blue seats for an E46 BMW M3 Coupé seem to qualify.
If the leather looks like it’s in new condition, then it should probably be noted that it is. Like a repaint on an exterior rarity, these seats have been redone in new leather. The seller (on Facebook Marketplace) states they’ve been restored with “attention to OEM fit and finish while preserving the original Laguna Seca Blue” look.
Does that mean they used leather sourced from BMW? Given that’s not stated it it is at least worth asking. Nevertheless, the quality of the install appears in these Facebook Marketplace photos to be decent, making them an intriguing addition to anyone restoring a rare spec E46 Coupé.
