As special editions go, the 2013 BMW M3 Lime Rock Park Edition is so much more than an appearance package, combining the final year of the naturally aspirated E92 M3 with exclusive styling, factory performance upgrades, and production limited to just 200 examples for the U.S. market.

Created to celebrate BMW’s decades-long relationship with the legendary Connecticut road course by the same name, the Lime Rock Park Edition was developed with input from Lime Rock legend Skip Barber and built as the ultimate road-going E92. Every example was finished exclusively in BMW Individual Fire Orange II (paint code P7H), a striking color borrowed from the European-market M3 GTS after BMW abandoned an earlier plan to use Valencia Orange. The change ultimately gave the Lime Rock Park Edition one of the most recognizable color schemes in BMW M history.
This particular example is number 1 of 200 produced and features the Anthracite Speed Cloth and Black leather interior configuration, complete with its numbered console plaque identifying it – 1/200. Showing just 51,880 miles, it presents as a remarkably well-preserved example that has been garage kept from new and remains completely stock with no modifications.

As every Lime Rock Park Edition did, this M3 came factory-equipped with the Competition Package, bringing 19-inch Style 359 wheels, revised Electronic Damping Control calibration, updated Dynamic Stability Control programming, and a lower ride height. BMW also fitted the special edition with a lightweight titanium and Inconel exhaust, carbon fiber front splitter and rear spoiler, an Alcantara-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, and the signature carbon-fiber roof panel. Power comes from BMW’s legendary 4.0-liter naturally aspirated S65 V8 producing 414 horsepower and revving to an intoxicating 8,300 rpm, sending power exclusively to the rear wheels.
The seller notes that the car benefits from recent maintenance, front-end paint protection film, two keys, and a clean title. More importantly for collectors, it remains entirely original with no modifications, no reported leaks, and no known mechanical issues—an increasingly uncommon claim among E9X M3s that have often seen track use or aftermarket upgrades.

The Lime Rock Park Edition has steadily emerged as one of the most collectible modern BMW M cars. It represents the final evolution of the E92 generation, one of the last naturally aspirated M cars, and a model that paired meaningful chassis enhancements with genuine exclusivity. Values have reflected that growing appreciation, particularly for low-mileage, unmodified examples with complete documentation.
For connisseuers who believe BMW M reached a high-water mark with the screaming S65 V8 and hydraulic steering, opportunities like this don’t surface often. A one-owner color, a one-year model, and one of only 200 built—it checks nearly every box for a modern collectible destined to remain one of the defining M cars of its era.
